Our aim is to contribute towards the development of the province haring established a peace -loving society on the basis of the law which protects human rights of every citizen implementing sound financial policy and people-based planning service in coordination with all the state organizations in the province.

Education
Aims at producing good citizens by development of education of all boys and girls of the Uva Province under the theme “සැම දන නැණ ගුන වැඩුම” (development of wisdom and virtues of all people)

• Distribution Educational Resources efficiently and productively.

Land Work
To contribute toward development of lands of the public in Uva using the limited land resource efficiently and productively safeguarding equilibrium of the environment.

• Development of lands distributed among the people in the province and the undeveloped state land.
• Identification of state reservations systematically and minimization of harms to environment through conservation of them.
• Soil conservation in selected lands.
• Immediate dissemination of information on possession and use of land through installation of land data bank.
• Conservation of water catchment areas.
• Providing lands to landless people.

Uva Provincial Press - Kailagoda
All printing work of state institutions in Uva Province in attended to efficiently and productively at fair and reasonable rates.

Library Services Board- Badulla
Development of library information technology and the publication field in Uva in order to strengthen its human resources highlighting the information, resources, dignity and historical background of Uva.

Uva Community Broadcasting Service - Bandarawela
Uva Community Broadcasting Service has been established a community based radio service for providing the entire community with  information exchange, communication needs and new information technology which contribute to qualitative development of the public life in Uva Province.

Development of Rural Infrastructure Facilities
Fulfillment of infrastructure facilities which the rural community needs and upliftment of living standard of rural community utilizing physical and human resources available in the province, at optimum level.

Department of Provincial Revenue
To contribute towards awakening prosperity for the public in the Uva Province by means of rendering an efficient and flexible friendly service for collecting financial resources required to make the socio economic and development activities of  the Uva Provincial Council  successful,

• To earn financial resources requires for development activities of the Uva Province.
• To increase the turnover tax revenue to be collected by examining every project site run within the province.

Local government
Assisting to uplift living conditions of the public in Uva province by means of providing necessary advice and guidance increase efficiency and productivity of local government institutions in terms of powers vested by statutes.

• Department of institutional strength of local government institutions.
• Providing assistance for development efforts within the areas of authority of Local Government Institutions.
• Regularization of financial control and administration of Local Government Institutions and thereby to reduce the number of disciplinary inquiries and audit queries.
• Assisting the Local Government Institutions to explore new revenue sources and providing necessary legal advice for same.
